Help Bring Film “Shift” to Silver Screen

On April 11, 2012, by AMI Staff

Last August we told you about the forthcoming film “Shift.” It’s a classic tale of Mustached Americana about a drag racer, his durable Chevron-style mustache that’s adorned by a high quality mullet, a quest is to escape his father’s shadow and shoot handguns at milk bottles.

At it’s core, “Shift” is a story about Mustached American fathers and sons and teaching each other what it takes to be a man — like having a good looking, sexually dynamic mustache.

But since Burt Reynolds began backing away from his film career, bringing Mustached Americana to the silver screen has grown more challenging. That’s why Johnny Roscoe Productions — which features former Robert Goulet Memorial Mustached American of the Year finalist Brandon Wardell, who you may recall was endorsed by Brooke Shields — is seeking your help.

You, the Mustached American community and interested third parties can help bring this film to fruition by making very simple micro-donations through the crowdfunding site RocketHub. Simply link to the funding page for “Shift” here and make a donation of any denomination: $1, $5, $10, $15 — anything helps.

And as you consider whether to help this feature film come to fruition, understand this is no fly by night production. Actors Christian Camargo from “The Hurt Locker,” “Dexter,” and the worthless “Twighlight” sagas; Natasha Lyonne from “American Pie” and “Scary Movie;” ALF from NBC’s “ALF;” and several others of note have signed on for the film

It’s release can’t come fast enough for the Mustached American community, and we hope that you will support it in whatever way you can.

You’re welcome.
