The American Mustache Institute has officially approved and endorsed a new effort out today from the Washington Redskins that allows Skins fans to celebrate the sexually dynamic Mustached American lifestyle by adding a good looking beard or mustache to their photos on Facebook and supporting the U.S. Marine Corps’ Toys For Tots campaign at the same time.Screen Shot 2013-12-06 at 11.47.18 AM

The momentous application — which can be found through the Redskins Facebook page or via — provides aspiring Mustached Americans two galleries of good looking facial foliage from which to choose from including current Redskins players and from the official AMI style guide.

“We understood the Federal statute and realized we must first seek approval from the American Mustache Institute  in order to leverage the mustache,” said a Redskins insider who requested anonymity. “And so we graciously thank AMI and look forward to bringing a deeper level of good looks to Redskins fans everywhere.”

Most important, Snyder added, for every Skin fans who ‘staches themselves at, Geico will donate $1 to the Toys For Tots for the holidays, which does not suck in any way.

“We applaud Mr. Snyder and the entire Redskins organization for their willingness to bring rugged good looks to their fanbase,” said Dr. Adam Causgrove, chief executive officer of the American Mustache Institute. “And at the same time, we’re all helping benefit Toys For Tots which is rewarding in and of itself. Huzzah!”
