Three years ago, the American Mustache Institute’s Dr. Aaron Perlut handed over the organizational reigns to current AMI chief executive Dr. Adam Paul Causgrove who has continued AMI’s practice of militant, iron-fisted facial hair advocacy.

Since then, Dr. Perlut has rarely been seen nor heard from, living a life of seclusion while studying bathing uses for bacon and developing peace treatises between waring factions in Malaysia.

But alas, with the Robert Goulet Memorial Mustached American of the Year voting ongoing, KATT Radio tracked down Dr. Perlut and engaged him in a deep conversation about a broad range of issues including Ken Bone, the Goulet award, sexual dynamism and biblical texts speaking to the Mustached American lifestyle.
